Symposium Schedule and General Info

Here is the schedule I have created for Tuesday. It is fit to the schedule for the rest of the conference, since we share coffee breaks and lunch breaks with the people in tutorials, etc.

I have scheduled 30 minutes for each of you. As I mentioned earlier, please plan a talk that is about 10 minutes long. We want to allow LOTS of time for discussion and feedback. Feel free to have backup slides that you can pull up as part of the discussion, but plan to keep your formal presentation as a brief, 10 minute, high-level overview of what you are working on and what you have done so far, and what you are planning to do to complete your degree.

Lunch and refreshments will be served on Tuesday. I'm not sure about breakfast, but I'm looking into it.

I will post a more detailed schedule later. In the meantime, everyone should use this wiki to post their materials (ie. what you submitted to the conference and any supporting video, images, audio or other materials). Everyone should try to look at each other's materials before the symposium. That will help us have focused discussions. You should all plan a 15 minute presentation for now (although I may have to cut it back to 10 - the purpose of the symposium is to have lots of time for discussion and feedback!).
